DOWNLOADING SKYPE:
Installing Skype and creating your Skype username takes only a few minutes:

Public Profile is what people see when they search for your Skype contact details. Contacts Only are what people who have been added to your Skype account can see.

Updating your Privacy Options:

 Your privacy settings control who can contact you via Skype, how long your IM history is kept and is used to manage blocked users. It’s worth adjusting these before getting started using Skype.
 By default, only the people on your Contact list are able to:
 • See your profile picture • Application share their screen.
 • Video talk with you.
 • Send IM’s.
 While anyone on Skype who searches for you can add you as a contact or call you. To change your privacy settings select Skype > Privacy in the menu bar. What privacy options you choose is entirely up to you! 

Configuring your Audio and Video settings:

 It’s best to make sure your audio and video is set up properly before using Skype to make calls. Once your Skype equipment is connected to your computer all you need to do is configure your Audio settings by going to Call > Audio Settings in the menu bar. Now just select your Microphone and Speakers from the drop down options. Repeat the same process to set up your web cam using the Video Settings options. 

Testing your Audio, Sound and Video quality is as simple as:

 1. Click on Echo / Sound Test Service However, if you want to minimize unwanted calls from anyone you might want to change it to “Allow calls from …. people in my Contact list only” 
 2. Click on Call.
 3. Now follow the instructions to test your set up using Skype’s automatic sound test service. 
 4. If you don’t hear any sound you’ll need to check your set up.
  5. Alternatively, you can click Check Settings to the right of Call.

Adding People To Your Skype Account: 

 To contact people you will need to add their username to your Skype account. The easiest way of finding someone’s Skype username is to contact them to ask:
1. If you could add them to your Skype account 
2. For their username
 However, you can easily search for friends’ Skype account using their email address or name.

You add people to your account by:

 1. Select Contacts > Add a Contact in the menu bar or click on Add Contact. 
 2. Enter their full name, email address or Skype name. 
 3. If the Skype account of the person you wish to add is displayed, click Add below the contact. Clicking on their Avatar displays all their profile information If more than one Skype account matches your search, click on view to check out all matches found. 
 4. Before the contact can be added, you must send a contact request to that person. Enter some text to introduce yourself and click Send request.
 5. The contact will be added to your contact list, but will appear offline until they accept your request.
 6. Once the person agrees to your request, they will be added to your Contact list. You can then make free calls and video calls to that person, and send instant messages and files to each other.
 7. Occasionally they won’t receive your notification to add to their contact list – in this situation just ask them to also add your username to their account. Using your Skype account.

Skype Status:

 Best part of Skype is you can tell when another user is online and what their status is so you know if they are available. Some one’s Skype status is showing Available or Away from keyboard are normally near their computer. However, it good etiquette to send a person a short Instant message and waiting to see if they reply rather than calling them as it might not be convenient, you might be interrupting their work flow or they may not have their audio configured. Once you’ve engaged in a IM conversation then you can nicely ask them if they mind or if it is convenient to use voice. 

Changing your Status is as simple as:

 1. Click on drop down menu next to your status.
 2. Select your new Status. 

Sending or Receiving an Instant Message Sending an Instant message is as easy as: 

 1. Find the person or group you want to message from your contact list.
 2. Their username will load in the main window and you just click inside the conversation box.
 3. Now type your short message and click the blue Send message button, or press Enter on your keyboard. If someone IMs you, your Recent tab will turn orange and will show a number to to indicate how many new IM you have received. You’ll also see an orange dot against the person’s name in your contact list who has sent the IM.

 To check newly received IM: 

 1. Click the Recent tab. You’ll see a list of contacts who have recently contacted you using IM.
 2. Unread messages are indicated by the person’s name shown in bold with a number next to their name.
 3. Click on the person’s name to open up the main window and view the conversation.
 4. Type your reply inside the conversation box and click the blue Send message button, or just press Enter on your keyboard.

 Other useful things you can do in an instant message include: 

 1. Add more people to the conversation to create a group IM
 • Click on Add People
 • Choose their names from the Contact list and click Select
 • Now click Add
 2. Use emoticons or add small pictures to show how you are feeling
 3. Send documents, photos or videos

 Useful things you can do on a call: 

• Mute – click this icon to mute your microphone so the other person can't hear you.
• Hold – click on this icon to put the call on hold.

 Make a video call: 

To make a video call make sure you've got a webcam plugged in; click the green Video call button to make it a video call.

 Useful things you can do on a video call: 

• Resize the screen – click and drag the corner of the video screen to make it bigger or smaller.
• Move it around – click and drag the video of yourself around your screen.
• Instant message (IM) at the same time – click the Show messages link at the top of the video to instant message while you're on the call.

 Send a file: 

 1. Click on Conversation → Send → File…
 2. Choose the file you want to send. 
Tip: To send more than one file hold down Ctrl as you select them.

 Screen sharing: 

 To share your screen, simply call a contact and in the conversations window click Share → Share Your Screen in the IM toolbar. You can select if you want to share your full screen or just a part of it. The person you are sharing your screen with can see your screen in full screen mode. You can continue talking via Skype whilst you share your screen.

Social media, unlike digital media 10-15 years ago, is a much more patient game. With SEO and banner ads and email marketing it was all instant gratification. I run a email solo ad service (Email Blast) and I am amazed at the number of people who want to run a one time mailing and actually expect results. Today's Social media world isn’t that way, and that’s why so many people are struggling with it. The reason so many people “don’t get it” is that they’re not willing to put in the time (one to two years) to get the solid results they hear about. Or, perhaps, they don't know what they are looking for. It’s a shame because small businesses (If you are an online entrepreneur) should really be winning on social much more than we may be now, but they’re caught between a rock and a hard place. As someone who came up in a family business, I know the problems well: 1. Most small businesses can’t afford the money it would take to hire Media Company to run their social media department. 2. Most small businesses don’t (think they) have the time to make it work. Doing social right means putting in a solid 9-10 hours a day of work. For small businesses making that time, or making that staffing allocation can be really hard, if not impossible.It's easier to spend the dollars on ads than on people. 3. Finally, when a small business ends up working with a smaller agency or consultant, Many of those entities can be dishonest about the realities of what they can do for their client. They don’t say “Listen, this is a three year play” because the client is operating in a world where they’re saying “If we don’t see results in 90 days, we’re out.” So the agency or consultant makes a bunch of promises, and then you’re in a bad situation. Social media is a more human play and requires more effort, but the vast majority of people are just unwilling to put in the time and effort to get the results they want out of it. They’re looking for something that converts faster, is a more efficient use of their time. They live in an instant-result-based world. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, these things don’t necessarily appease the people who grew up with email marketing and SEO, and that’s the problem. Too many people focus on QUANTITY. They sponsor dozens, even hundreds of affiliates, which is great,because you have the option to choose the QUALITY one. Ultimately QUALITY that is the real key. Once you have found or developed 3-5 top affiliates, you are going to see a lot of great things happen with your commission cheque.

How do you develop quality affiliates? It's real simple: WORK WITH THE WORKERS!

When you see people who are working in your group, work with them!

It's of course, more natural for us to let the workers in our group just do their own thing. After all, they got active without you even telling them to, they're already sponsoring new affiliates, referring new members, etc. They don't need your help or support, or so you think.

Meanwhile, you are spending all your time trying to get the people who obviously don't "get it" to do something. As the old saying goes, “you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink,” yet you continue to try.

You need to know that this is exactly the opposite of what you should be doing to build a successful business. I'm not saying you shouldn't follow up with those who don't immediately get active. You should. But don't spend ALL or even the majority of your time with this. And DEFINITELY DO NOT IGNORE your workers!

Indeed, the way you create those 3-5 "top-gun" affiliates that you need is by treating them LIKE YOUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON THEM.

Try to be in touch with your best, hardest-working affiliates at least every week (email, phone calls, chat-room, or whatever).

How many affiliates will you have to go through to find your top guns? That is, of course, difficult to say. What I can tell you though is that they're out there (or are ALREADY in your group), and you'll develop them so long as you deny your natural instincts and apply the proper focus (work with the workers!).

Just like in a deck of playing cards, you KNOW there are four aces. If you start working your way through the deck, the first ace may not come up for a while, but eventually it will so long as you keep going through the deck. And if you don't quit, you'll eventually locate FOUR aces.

Keep sponsoring affiliates, work with your workers, and success will happen.

Tip: Don't waste time on sceptics or pessimists. They will NOT succeed in SFI, or any other similar endeavour. They do not possess the qualities of a winner (this includes "rocking-chair advisors" who talk and talk, seem to know all the answers, but never act).

First Three Months in SFI business.

FOR NEW SIGN UPS:- 

FIRST MONTH :

-Determine the remaining number of days for the current month . For example you sign up on the 15th of the month that means that you still have 15 days (for a 30 days month) left to reach you EA status. If you signed up at the end of a month you can carry over your VP into the next month.

-Compute the number of VP that you can get from your Daily Task . Example, if you have 15 days multiply it with 11VP then it will give you 165 VP. That means you need 1335 VP to reach your EA status .

-Go to your VP Ledger page  and complete the task that will give you the 1335 VP needed for your EA status . Remember that if you completed 500VP within your first 24 hrs of signing up in SFI you will get a bonus of additional 200VP for becoming a SFI Fast Track member . You will also get your Fast Track member badge .

-IMPORTANT : Just complete the task in your VP Ledger that will give you the needed number of VP for your EA Status . You can reserve the other task ( VP ) for your Second month . Make sure also to log in and complete your Daily Task so you can get the required number of VP from your Daily Task.

-Your first month goal is to become a Fast Track member and to reach your EA status . By doing this simple plan, you can be sure that you will accomplish your goal. Additional goal is to READ and LEARN about the system of SFI . Feel free to explore SFI website , READ and LEARN all the useful information that you can find.

NOTE : Participate daily in the Daily Grand Draw for a chance to win the Daily Grand Prize.

SECOND MONTH :

GOAL : 1. Maintain EA2 Status.
2. Find at least 3-5 Personally Sponsored Affiliates (PSA).

-Compute the VP that you can get from your Daily Task . For Example , if the current month is a 30 days month that means that you can get 330 VP from your daily Task.

-Go to your VP Ledger page and check how much is the remaining VP that you can get from your uncompleted task. This will vary depending on the task you complete during your first month.

-Check if you are eligible for the monthly Task like “Rate your Sponsor “ and “Setting your monthly goal “ . If not then you can do your Weekly Task ( whichever is available ).

-Assess how much VP you can get to maintain your EA2 Status ( required is 1500VP ) .

-You can contact your Sponsor if you find any problem in completing some of the task in your VP Ledger .

-If the available VP is not enough to reach 1500VP to maintain your EA2 Status I personally recommend that you purchase a single or multiple TCredits from TripleClicks. 1 TCredit will cost you $1.89 and will give you 102 VP and 5 MRP . The easiest way to maintain your EA2 Status is to place a 1500VP standing order ( I will recommend that you get the 125TCredits Standing order. You can use the TCredits to advance your status to Team Leader Status.

-To reach BTL status you must earn 3000 VP . Below is a simple plan to help you earn 3000VP.
